The FORE Society is Europe's biggest golf society (possibly the world's!). We welcome golfers of all ability and age. We are delighted to have helped so many people new to the game to obtain their first golf handicap.

The FORE Society was launched in 1997 in conjunction with FORE magazine to set up a national golf society for readers. The aim was to provide an opportunity for non golf club members to obtain a handicap and the annual subscription was, and still is only £25.

But we also cater for the more experienced and competitive golfers by organising the FORE Tour which provides an opportunity to play on some of the UK's best golf courses and win some great prizes. The FORE Tour was launched in 1999 providing the opportunity for amateur golfers to play in professionally organised events, in a relaxed atmosphere with like minded golfers at top class courses in the UK, many of which they could not normally play on.
