There are a number of websites which offer an opportunity to obtain a handicap but unless they are registered with a national golf union their handicap is not worth the paper it is written on and there will be many courses which do not accept it. The FORE Golf Society is registered with the English Golf Union and your FORE Golf Society handicap will be accepted at courses worldwide.
