There are several websites which now offer the opportunity to obtain a 'recognised' or 'official' golf handicap but please beware that the majority of these handicaps are not worth the paper they are written on and ARE NOT accepted at all golf clubs as stated on these websites.

The FORE Golf Society is an English Golf Union registered society (ref. no. 1015) and we guarantee the handicap we provide is accepted as proof of your playing ability at golf clubs throughout the UK and worldwide..

The FORE Golf Society has been running since 1997 and we have issued in excess of 5000 handicaps without any of our members being turned away from a golf club.
